Virginia Rose Arnold, 91, Meyersdale, died June 28, 2018 at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. Born January 16, 1927, in Rockwood, the daughter of Norman and Oretta (Haer) Brant. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Floyd R. Arnold; brothers: Norman Brant Jr. and Carl Brant; and sister: Shirley Varchetti. Survived by her sons: Norman “Dougie” Arnold and wife, the former Pamela Gallagher, and Mark Arnold and wife, the former Janet Sechler; grandchildren: N. Douglas (Cassie), Joshua (Kayla), Christopher (Amy), Miranda, and Adam; great grandchildren: Hunter, Easton, Olivia, Lincoln, Tatum, Mya, Parker, and Gavin. Also survived by sister: Geraldine Stahl. Virginia was a member of Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church and she enjoyed quilting. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Price Funeral Service, Meyersdale, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, with Rev. Mardiann Vincent officiating. Interment Highland Cemetery, Garrett. Memorial contributions may be given to the Mt. Olivet Building Fund, c/o Pam Arnold, 14 North St., Meyersdale, PA 15552. Arrangements by Price Funeral Service, Inc., Meyersdale.
