Obituary for Virginia Anderson Virginia (Ginny) Susan Clark Anderson 5/3/1955 – 6/5/2018 Ginny Anderson, 63, passed away unexpectedly at home in Lilliwaup, Washington, on June 5th, leaving her family and friends stunned and saddened. Though Ginny grew up in Maine, attending Presque Isle High School, she lived in the Seattle area most of her adult life. Family and friends remember her as a very curious, highly intelligent, creatively talented person who actively sought to learn as much as possible about her next passion. (She was known to sneak into University of Washington lectures just to listen.) She was an observant, goodsoul, who wrote irreverent (goofy) poetry and long funny emails and letters. Ginny is survived by her father, Merland A. Clark, of Knox, Maine; sister Cheryl Mattson of Las Vegas, Nevada; brothers David Clark of Marlboro, Massachusetts and Rob Clark of Houston, Texas; son Michael Anderson, and grandchildren Ethan and Thaedra Anderson. Her mother, Charlene Somers Clark, recently passed away. She was especially close to her niece Heather Carnes of Knox, Maine. A memorial is planned at her grandparents’ farm, a place she loved spending childhood summers with cousins, fishing, playing ball, and hiding in the barn.
