Vincent D. Barone, 87, of Brockton for over 50 years, died June 5, 2018. A native of E. Boston, he graduated from high school there. Vincent served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was an office manager at James D. Shea Co. in Quincy for many years until his retirement. A member of the Brockton Council on Aging Men’s Club, he enjoyed walks at the Westgate Mall. Vinny was the beloved husband of Dorothy E. (Simmers) Barone for 57 years; loving father of the late Debra Barone Siraco; brother of the late Minzy, Rico, and Louis Barone and Lisa Derby; and a dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Vinny also leaves many wonderful friends. All are welcome to calling hours Sunday 1-5 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton, funeral from Waitt Funeral Home Monday at 9 a.m., his funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Michael Church, Avon and burial at St. Michael Cemetery, Avon.
