Obituary of Tamara Korthaus Tamara J. Korthaus, 71, of Muscatine, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at her home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2018, at 11:00 A.M. at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services. Interment will be in Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery. Following the interment, a time of food and fellowship will be held at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Community Room. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:00 A.M. until service time. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers and memorials, the family asks that you simply reach out and call a loved one. Sympathy notes may be left for the family at www.lewisfuneralhomes.com. Tamara Jo Moorhead was born on August 7, 1946, in Muscatine, Iowa, the daughter of Gordon E. and Ruby A. (Martz) Moorhead. On August 28, 1965, Tamara was united in marriage to Thomas A. Korthaus in Davenport, Iowa. She was a member of the Women of the Moose and enjoyed reading, doing puzzles, TV shopping and spending time with her family and granddogs. Tamara will be deeply missed by her sons, Todd (Tara) Korthaus of Fruitland and Tony (Amy) Korthaus of Eden Prairie, MN; and one grandson, Riley Korthaus. Tamara was preceded in death by her parents; husband; grandson, Thomas Joseph Korthaus; and brother, Terry Moorhead.
