Steve Thornhill, age 56 of Lewisburg died Sunday, June 3, 2018 at his home after an extended illness. Mr. Thornhill was a native of Marshall County, and he was the son of the late Bobby Gene Thornhill and Annie Chumbley Thornhill Garrett of Lewisburg. He was a member of the Church of Christ, former owner of Steve’s Tire and Auto Care, and was employed at WestRock. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Eddie Thornhill. Along with his mother he is survived by two sons, Heath (Brianna) Thornhill and Andrew Thornhill both of Lewisburg, two sisters, Vicki (Terry) Jett of Lewisburg and Debbie (Mack) McKnight of Culleoka, two grandsons, Gavin and Kaiden Thornhill, special aunt, Ruth Sharp, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted on June 6, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of London Funeral Home with burial to follow in Morton cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home for visitation on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, in care of Susie Boatright, Memorial Chair for Marshall County, 2382 Lynnville, Hwy., Cornersville, TN 37047
