Socorro Garcia, age 71, born in Chihuahua, Mexico and resident of Albuquerque, passed away, Friday, June 22, 2018. Mr. Garcia is survived by his wife, Fausta Q. Garcia; his children, Mayra Dominguez and husband, Adrian, Marco Garcia and Oscar Garcia; grandchildren, Miguel Salais, Edgar Montes, Edwin Montes, Luis Loya, Samuel Loya; great-grandchildren, Julian Salais, Makayla Montes and Jenna Salais; sisters, Martha Scott, Martina Herrera and Piedad Sepulveda. A visitation will be held Friday, June 29, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW. Interment to follow at Pajarito Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Oscar Garcia, Miguel Salais, Edgar Montes, Samuel Loya, Margarito Quintana and Jimmy Maestas. Honorary Pallbearers will be Marco Garcia, Edwin Montes, Luis Loya, Adrian Domiguez and Julian Salais.
