Obituary for Sherry Kay Hoopes Sherry Kay Hoopes our loving wife, mother, grandma, sister and friend to many passed away May 31, 2018 at Ogden Regional Hospital. She was born in Brigham City, Utah July 27, 1943 to Robert and Doris Pettingill. She attended Ben Lomond High School where she made lifelong friends. She was a proud member of the LDS church. On August 09, 1969 she married the love of her life Benny Ray Hoopes. They resided in Ogden, Utah and had 8 children. She is survived by her children Robert (Jacki) Christoffersen, Gilbert Christoffersen, Randy (Hazel) Christoffersen, Teresa Buchanan, Alisha Green, Jennifer Norman, and Steven Hoopes; her 21 grandkids and 8 great grandkids; her 3 loving sisters and brother-in-laws Betty (Ed) Kingsford, Vicki (Tom) Nielsen, Bobbi (Frank) Sanders. She was preceded in death by her baby Brenda Hoopes, her parents Robert and Doris Pettingill, her nephew Daron Slater and her son-in-law Brian Green. Viewing will be held from 5-7 pm and a Life Celebration from 7-8 pm on Tuesday June 5, 2018 at Premier Funeral Services, 5335 South 1950 West Roy, UT 84067.
