Sherrill Ann McMurtry, 63, formerly of Sylvania, OH., and a current resident of the Luther Home of Mercy, passed away Sunday, June 17, 2018 at St. Charles Hospital. She was born December 19, 1954 in Toledo to parents Robert and Cathryn (Siler) McMurtry, and they preceded her in death. Although Sherrill was not able to fully care for herself, she lived a full and very spiritual life. She possessed a strong faith and enjoyed reading her Bible each day. Sherrill genuinely liked people and always maintained a positive outlook on her life. She is survived by her family at the Luther Home of Mercy, where friends may gather in the Chapel Wednesday morning, June 27th at 8:30AM, Funeral Services will begin at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park. Those wishing to offer memorials are asked to consider in lieu of flowers the Luther Home of Mercy, 5810 N. Main St. Williston, OH. 43468.
