Obituary for Sandra Jean Montague Simmons Sandra Montague Simmons 1945 – 2018 On May 30, 2018 our loving mother, sister, and grandmother passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family following a courageous battle with cancer. Sandra was strong beyond belief, yet very kind and giving, always opening her home to family and friends in need. Her love was unconditional. She lived her life her way – it was her way or the highway! Those close to her knew when she meant business and enough was enough. Sandra enjoyed camping and fishing, and spending time with her family. She worked for Texttile care for many years and Managed the VFW in Magna. Sandra leaves behind her life partner Tom Dunstone, daughter Kim Conti, son TJ Simmons, grandson’s Tyler and TJ Conti, brother Dennis Montague, sister’s Nancy (Ronnie) Mark, Paula (Don) Peterson, Holly (Robert) Reilly, Bonnie Cannon, Jolene (Bob) Higgins, brother-in-law Richard Pietramali, many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Sandra is preceded in death by her parents, Ross and Erma Montague, husband TJ Simmons, sister Pat Pietramali , brother-in-law Ed Cannon, stepson Randy Frymire, nephews Dennis Jr. Montague and Matthew Mark, and niece Stacey Moser. Thank you “Mama” for loving me unconditionally and always being there for me! Heaven knows, I tested your patience more than a time or two. I will miss you more than is imaginable and cherish our talks together. I know we will be together again, and will be waiting for that time! “I am the resurrection in life and who shall ever believe in me shall never die.” We would like to thank Kytrina and Monica from Horizon Hospice for all the love, support and care they provided during Sandra’s final days at home. A Celebration of Life will be held June 22, 2018 at the Magna Golf Course from 6-10 p.m.
