Ryan Rahmati 2018

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our RyRy. You were one of the lucky ones if you ever received one of his famous bear hugs that smothered you with so much love. He will forever be missed by his parents Essi and Sue Rahmati along with his two siblings, Arya and his favorite girl Layla who he absolutely adored. Ryan graduated from South Burlington High School in 2010. He later graduated from Burlington Technical Center where he completed his studies in Aviation Technology with honors. Ryan enjoyed his work at Tavern ll in Burlington, VT where he learned his culinary skills. Ryan was predeceased by his Grandfather James Benton, Paternal Grandmother Fatima Rahmati, and Uncle Eddie Benoit. He is survived by his sweet Grandma, Marilyn Benton, his aunts, uncles, and cousins from Vermont and all across the United States, along with his family in Iran. A private celebration of his life will be held among loved ones at his parents’ home in South Burlington, VT. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Ryan’s honor to COTS VT (95 North Ave Burlington, VT).
