Ruth E Hills 2018

Ruth E. Hills, 97, of Robbinsville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 16, 2018, at Morris Hall Meadows in Lawrence Twp. Born in Trenton, Ruth was a resident of Robbinsville for over 25 years. She graduated from Trenton High School and received a Bachelor’s Degree from Rider College in 1940. Ruth retired from New Jersey National Bank as a Federal Funds Officer. She was a long-time parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in Trenton. Daughter of the late Joseph Wallace Hills and Amy (Applegate) Hills and sister of the late Grace J. Pierson; she is survived by her niece, Nancy Snedeker of Moravia, NY; two great-nieces, Becky Smith of Lexington, KY and Kristine Marchant of Canton, MA and a great-great nephew, Samuel Smith of Lexington, KY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 23, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart RC Church, 343 South Broad Street, Trenton. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Ruth’s memory to Sacred Heart Church, 343 South Broad Street, Trenton, NJ 08608. Arrangements are under the direction of the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ.
