BARTLEY Ruth Mary Bartley (nee Crellin), beloved wife of the late James J. Bartley, loving mother of Nancy (the late Robert) O’Hearn, Jan Bartley and Jim Bartley, cherished grandmother of Patrick (Cristi) O’Hearn and Katherine (Adam) Armstrong, and great grandmother of Conner, Gavin and Caitlyn. This loss is felt profoundly by her many friends and loved ones. Ruth was a woman that others could model themselves by. She was caring, loving, and appreciated by those around her. She left a meaningful impact on her children, grandchildren, friends, and other family members. She was a nurturer. She was also a gracious teacher of different things- including baking, sewing, knitting, and fostering a love of nature. She was selfless in her support of others. She fiercely loved her family. Ruth enjoyed her friends and lunching with them. She was a dedicated mother. But, most of all she was sweet. She will be remembered fondly by those who knew her. Her late husband James Bartley dotingly loved her and thought she was the most beautiful woman in the world until the time of his passing. They demonstrated a thoughtful and loving marriage throughout their lives. The family wishes to thank specifically Theresa Francis, her devoted caregiver, her care givers at Hillebrand Nursing Home, and also friends who cared for her and brought her joy in her final years.
