Burlington Ruby Harden Griffin, 85, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Twin Lakes Community. She was born in Sanford, NC on November 10, 1932 to the late John Alton and Lillie Lee Harden. Ruby was a member of First United Methodist Church in Elon and worked as a National Sales Manager for Labcorp. She enjoyed shopping, antiquing, playing cards and traveling. Survivors include her son, Jeffrey Lee Griffin and wife Ewa of Dayton, OH; sister, Betty Hensley… Read More » of Vicksburg, MS and her former sister-in-law, Marlene Oltarzewski. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, John Harden, Jr. and Earl Harden. A service to celebrate her life will be held 2:00 pm on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at May-Foley Chapel at Twin Lakes by Rev. Keith Sexton with the burial to follow at Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45pm prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Rd., Burlington, NC 27215.
