Obituary for Ms. Ronni Dee Pettengill Ronni Dee Pettengill, 59, a resident of the town of Johnstown, passed on June 26th, 2018, at Albany Medical Center, after many years of staying active and positive through her various difficult health issues. She was surrounded by the ones she loved the most, her loving and caring family. Ronni was born on Nov. 4th, 1958 to her late parents; Ronald Duane McCoy and Helen Alberta Browne, lived most of her adult life in the area, moving from CA, with her two children. She worked tirelessly to provide for them and love them. Even in her years of health misfortunes, that coerced her to not work, she maintained a positive attitude and was almost always considered “the life of the party”; no matter what she was facing personally. Ronni put others first and will be always remembered for her loveable and social personality. She truly was up for anything, to show those she loved, she cared more about the time sprang with her loved omens that the activity planned. Ronni herself enjoyed spending time with close friends and family, whether she was fishing, playing poker, Yahtzee, shopping or laying back watching Sci-fi movies, Ronni lived a genuine life full of the ones she impacted most in life. She will be greatly missed by not only her children and family, but anyone who had the pleasure to call her a friend, or Mama Dee. Ronni leaves behind not only her loving children; Vincent “Vinny” Pettengill, of Mammoth Lakes, CA, Shilo Jacks and her husband Steve Jacks and her granddaughters, Ella and Mia, brother Lance Mccoy all of Sterling Heights MI, grandson Vincenzo Bottisti of Amsterdam NY, and companion Buzzy Van Dyke, of Johnstown. In keeping with Ronnie’s wishes, a service is to begin at 1:00 pm, a Celebration Of Life will immediately follow, both will be held at the Midway Grill at 527 N. Perry St. Johnstown, NY, 12095, on Saturday, June 30th 2018, where Ronnie’s friends can celebrate her legacy and memories.
