Ronald G Meisner 2018

Ron was born on September 5, 1932 (Labor Day) which he loved to say. He passed away on May 30, 2018. Ron was born In Portland, OR. to Glenn and Gladys Meisner. He was the precious husband and companion of Joann for over 26 years of love and adventure. Ron was a father and stepfather of; Jeri Raymond (Mark), Diana Holding (Brent), Dawn Heer (Mike), Debbie McCabe (Chris) and the late Jaki Gamble (Dale). Ron also had a brother, Roger and (Eulene) Meisner, thirteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Ron was an avid golfer from age 14 and had the greatest thrill being a caddy twice for Ben Hogan. Ron was a veteran serving during the Korean War. He was a square dance caller and round dance cuer in Central Oregon for over 25 years. Ron was also a lifetime member of the V.F.W. Post 4108 and their Commander and bingo caller for some time. The family would like to say “Thank You” to Bend Partners in Care for their compassion and care. Donations can be made in his honor to Partners in Care, 2075 NE Wyatt Court, Bend, Oregon 97701. You will be missed by so many that loved and respected you. At Ron’s request, no services will be held.
