Ronald W. Roby, 68, of Saint Marys, died 11:45 A.M. Tuesday, June 5, 2018, in Van Wert. He was born November 14, 1949, the son of Richard and Marian (Kuhlhorst) Roby, and they preceded him in death. He is survived by his children: Rob Roby of Cridersville; Renee Schwarck of Saint Marys; Ronald (Francis Vogan) Roby of Saint Marys; Stacey (Megan) Roby of Saint Marys; Becca (Jason) VanTrees of Saint Marys. He is survived by his companion, Teresa Huff, of Van Vert; by 19 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings: Robert Roby of Findlay; Richard Roby of Lima; Randy Roby of Yorkshire, Ohio. He is survived by his former wife, Pam Chilcoat, of Saint Marys. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 grandchildren. Ron retired from Norfolk and Southern Railroad, where he had worked as an equipment operator for 24 years. He loved cruising on his Harley and his slingshot; he enjoyed hot rod cars and racing. Funeral rites will be held 8:00 P.M. Sunday, June 10, 2018, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, Evangelist Pat Bayman, officiant. Private family burial rites will be held. Friends may call from 6-8 P.M.
