Obituary for Robert V. Rosenswie, Jr. Robert V. Rosenswie, Jr., of Concord Rd., Springville, died Saturday June 23, 2018 in Autumn View Manor, Hamburg, at the age of 74. He was born July 14, 1943 in Buffalo, New York a son of the late Robert V. Sr. and Joan (nee Kruwel) Rosenswie. He was a graduate of South Park High School in Buffalo, served in the U.S. Army National Guard and was a member of The Crossing in Springville. He was a retired Police Officer with the Buffalo Police Department, having served for 22 years. He was a member of the Springville Field & Stream Club, the National Turkey Federation, enjoyed hunting, fishing and loved the time spent with his family. He is survived by his wife – Heddy G. (nee Orsini) Rosenswie whom he married November 13, 1965 in Buffalo; two sons – Robert V. III (Tracy) Rosenswie of Concord, Michael (Shannon) Rosenswie of Concord; ten grandchildren – Malinda, Joelle, Rachel, Colton, Morgan, Paige, Dalton, Emma, Meghan & Aimee Rosenswie; a brother – Terry (Sandra) Rosenswie of West Seneca; a brother-in-law – Tony (Judy) Orsini of Springville and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Monday June 25 from 2-4 and 6-9 pm at Smith-Weismantel Funeral Home, 271 E. Main St., Springville, where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 am.
