Robert C Knoll December 25 1925 June 18 2018 (age 92)

Robert C. Knoll, 92, of Harvard passed away Monday June 18, 2018 at Rockford Memorial Hospital in Rockford. He was born in Northbrook on December 25, 1925 to John and Elsa (Heppner) Knoll. In 1991 he married Estelle R. Skulzacek. Robert was the long-time owner and operator of Robert C. Knoll Grain in Woodstock. Robert was a veteran serving in the US Army stationed in Japan during WWII. He was a member at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Woodstock. After selling the business, he and his wife Estelle went on many trips covering the United States and Canada. He was loved and will be missed. He is survived by his wife Stell; two children, Robert Jr. and Sandy; a brother, Jack (Jane) Knoll; two sisters, Bernice (Walter) Bruhn and Marion Engleking. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Violet Eicholz. The visitation will be on Saturday June 23, 2018 from 9:00 am until the 11:00 am funeral service at St. Johns Lutheran Church 401 St. Johns Rd. Woodstock. Interment will be in the McHenry County Memorial Park Cemetery in Woodstock.
