Reva Lee Loveday Williams Clinton was born April 27, 1916, to Claude Otis Loveday and Mary Ellen Terry Loveday in the Walnut Grove Community of Sevier County, Tennessee. Reva Lee passed from this life on June 28, 2018 at the age of 102. Reva Lee truly enjoyed participating in the community of Walnut Grove. She was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church her entire life. She always taught the youth classes in Sunday School and Bible School. She was a substitute teacher at Walnut Grove… Read More » School and New Center Elementary. Reva continued to attend church at Walnut Grove until recently, when her health began to fail. Reva Lee’s grandparents, Ira and Matilda Loveday/Cam and Malvina Loveday, were members and founding fathers of Walnut Grove. Reva Lee belonged to numerous organizations in Sevier County over the years. She so enjoyed belonging to the Sevier County Home Demonstration Club. She was able to travel to many Eastern and Southern states. She belonged to the Garden Club and loved her flowers. The Red Hat Society was a place she truly fit in. She belonged to the American Legion Auxiliary and participated while Arville was living and able to participate, and she also participated after he passed away. When the Sevier County Fair came to town, Reva Lee was eager to help set up the exhibits and help in any way possible. Reva Lee enjoyed the Senior Center where she was a member of the art class. She has a beautiful collection of her paintings. W.C. and Barbara moved to many states during his employment with the National Park Service. Reva Lee was able to visit the family in Alaska, California, Michigan, Oregon, Virginia, Washington, and Wyoming. These were her most fulfilling times. In recent times she was still able to write all states and capitols by memory. Reva Lee was preceded in death by her husband, Arville Clinton; the father of her daughter, Barbara, Herbert Williams; her parents Claude Otis Loveday and Mary Ellen Terry Loveday; grandparents, Robert Campbell “Cam” Loveday and Mary Malvina Sharp Loveday, and James Ashley Terry and Malassie Ann Isabella Lafollette Terry; her sisters, Geneva Loveday, Savannah Loveday, Truly Loveday Connatser (Clarence), Marjorie Loveday, and Joy Loveday Sims (Roy). Reva Lee lost her precious granddaughter, Jane Melissa Bohanan Morrow on May 5, 2018, after a short-term serious illness. Her nieces, Wanda Connatser Dickinson, Marlene Connatser Leatherwood McNabb, and Vicky Sims Romines Keathley Tarwater preceded Reva Lee in death. Reva Lee’s nephews, Charles and Troy Clinton, also preceded her. Reva Lee’s father-in-law and mother-in-law, Cisco and Minnie Clinton, along with brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Clyde and Genella Clinton and sisters-in-law, Imogene and Juanita Clinton, also preceded Reva Lee. Reva Lee is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Barbara Jane Williams Bohanan and William Crease “W.C.” Bohanan; granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Belinda and Todd Gray; grandson-in-law, Mark Morrow; great-grandchildren, Andrew Morrow, Hailey Morrow-Burghart and husband, Dillan, and Jasmine Gray; great-great-granddaughter, Bella Grace Burghart. She is also survived by nieces, Mary Helen Sims Smelcer and Judy Clinton Flynn, and nephew Larry Sims, along with several other great nieces and nephews. The family greatly appreciated the care, support, work, and help Mary Arwood, Karen Gilkerchen, and Linda Hurst gave for the past few months. Special thanks to Ruth Green and Jean Burel for their much appreciated help for the past few years. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Walnut Grove Cemetery Fund, c/o Charles Shultz, 1995 Walnut Grove Rd, Sevierville, TN 37876. The family will receive friends from 5-7PM Monday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 7PM with Rev.
