Obituary for Reba Nell Young Reba Young, age 84, of Oneonta, passed away on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at the St. Vincent’s East Hospital. She was born on June 24, 1934 to Odus Clark and Inez Z. Jones Murphree. Reba was member of the Lebannon United Methodist Church since childhood and also was a member of the “D.A.R.”, Daughter’s of the American Revolution; she loved to cook and spend time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Odus and Inez Murphree. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, William Young of Oneonta; children, Mack (Patti) Young of Oneonta, Lori (Kendall) Brooks of Rosa and Valerie (Greg) Owen of Oneonta; grandchildren, Katie (Justin) Bryant, Megan (Easton) Kelly, Will Young, Derek (Kimberly) Owen, Daniel Owen, Adam (Arlene) Brooks and Mary (Alan) Moody; great grandchildren, Jackson Bryant, Harper Kelly, Ridley Owen, Adalyn Brooks, Ethan and Caleb Moody; brother, Norman (Ann) Murphree. Graveside funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at 10:00 AM from the Lebanon Cemetery. The family request that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lebanon Cemetery Fund. Lemley Funeral Home is honored to serve the Young Family.
