Obituary for Raymond Weeks CHELSEA, MAINE Raymond G. Weeks – age 73, of the Dr. Mann Road, died June 27, 2018 at the Alfond Center for Health in Augusta after a brief illness. He was born in Gardiner, ME on Nov. 16, 1944 the son of George Weeks and Ruth (Gagnon) Weeks. Ray served honorably in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Statler Tissue Co. for many years. Ray was a member and past Trustee of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 3137, where he just received his 30 years of service award. Ray was predeceased by his parents, by his wife, Bernadette (Belisle) Weeks, by a son, Raymond G. Weeks, a sister-in-law Germaine her husband Donald and daughter Wanda Lewis; and sister-in-law Rita Kanaris. Surviving include his daughter, Kelly Cardillo, her husband Tony of Sidney, their children Anthony Brown, Tylar Cardillo, Naomi Rizzo and Natale Cardillo; his daughter Ginger Jackson, her husband Gary of Manchester, and their children Teaka Jackson and Tasha Jackson; his son, Robert Rodgers of Winthrop, and his son Patrick Rodgers; three great-grandchildren Arianna and Emmaleigh Brown and Madelynn Ray Cardillo; two sisters: Terry Buckmore and her husband Harold of Belfast and Toby Morgan of Augusta; In-laws Theresa Millette and her husband Craig of Chelsea, Robert Weymouth and wife Kathy of Belgrade, Brian Belisle and wife Melanie of Sidney; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may visit from 2-4 PM on Saturday June 30th at Plummer Funeral Home, 16 Pleasant St., Augusta where a funeral service will follow at 4 PM. Following the service will be a celebration at the Eagles Club, 71 Water Street, Augusta. Committal prayers with military honors will be held at 10 AM on Friday July 27th in the committal shelter at Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Civic Center Drive, Augusta, ME.
