Obituary for Peggy S. Halbrook Peggy Stallings Halbrook, 71, of 280 Oakview Loop Road, Yanceyville, NC went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 after being in declining health for the past seven months. Mrs. Halbrook was born in Danville, VA on January 14, 1947 a daughter of the late Leonard Stallings and Katherine Worley Stallings. She had lived all of her life in Rockingham and Caswell Counties. Mrs. Halbrook had retired from the First National Bank of Reidsville where she was a loan processor. She was of the Baptist Faith. Mrs. Halbrook is survived by one son Garland Scott Halbrook and wife Debra of Yanceyville, NC and two grandchildren, Mikala Halbrook of Greensboro, NC and Allison Crumpton of Blanch, NC. She was predeceased by one daughter, Sonja Halbrook. A Memorial Service will be conducted on Friday, June 29, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. by the Reverend Jerald Brown from the Wrenn-Yeatts Memorial Funeral Home, 877 Main Street, Yanceyville, NC 27379.
