Paul F. Castiglione, 80, of Clifton, passed away Friday, June 8, 2018. Born in Passaic, Mr. Castiglione was a lifelong resident of Clifton. Before his retirement 25 years ago, he was a truck driver with Leaseway Transportation, formerly in Maywood. He was a proud member of the Teamsters Union Local #560 of Union City. More recently, Mr. Castiglione was the Publicity Manager for Fireworks by Castiglione. He was a parishioner of Holy Trinity R.C. Church in Passaic and a 3rd Degree Life Member of Regina Mundi Knights of Columbus Council #3969 in Clifton and served nine years with the NJ National Guard 50th Armored Division. He was predeceased by his parents, Jacob Castiglione and Katherine (nee Weidermen) and stepmother Nancy (nee Pierce). Survivors include: his beloved wife of 58 years, Carol (nee Witte); one son, Paul James Castiglione of Clifton; two daughters: Catherine June Ventimiglia and her husband Robert of Clifton and Cynthia Ann Van Biert and her husband Keith of Nutley; four grandchildren: Amanda Ziem and her husband Shawn, Robert Ventimiglia, and Jamie and Jagger Weglarz; and one great-grandchild, Madison Ziem. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 3 to 8 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral services will be held Monday 10:15 am from the funeral home followed by an 11:00 am Mass at Holy Trinity R.C. Church, 226 Harrison St., Passaic. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Paterson.
