Norma A Gatchell, 76 of North East, MD, died Tuesday, June 26, 2018 in Elkton, MD. A lifelong resident of Cecil County, she was born in Elkton on June 27, 1941, the daughter of the late William Anthony and Mary (Hargan) Peterson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl “Porky” Gatchell; 4 brothers and 1 granddaughter: Erika. Mrs. Gatchell worked in Food Service at many public schools in Cecil County. She enjoyed bingo, cross stitching and crafts. Survivors include her children: Tim Hare (Sheryl) of Poulsbo, WA, Mary Triantafillos (Brian) and Ann Marie Burnett (Jeff) all of Elkton, MD and 7 grandchildren. Funeral service will be held Monday, July 2, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where visitation will begin at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
