Newton H. (“Buzz”) Keeler, 72, died Monday, June 18, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Davina D. (Ligon) Keeler. Born in Abington, Pennsylvania. He was a son of the late Nelson, H. and Claire C. (Cournoyer) Keeler, and stepson of the late Francis (Zahn) Keeler. He has been a resident of Warwick since 1969. Buzz was a Vietnam War Veteran serving with the U.S Navy as a Machinist Mate 3rd Class. He was employed General Dynamics for 38 years as a maintenance mechanic. Besides his wife, he leaves his son, Newton Keeler and his wife Kris, and his grandchildren Josh and Kathryn. He also leaves his brother Barry Keeler, of Bradenton, Florida, sister Barbara J. Keeler of Athens, Georgia, and half brother Nelson Keeler of North Carolina. His funeral will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Alzheimer’s Association – RI Chapter, 245 Waterman Street, Suite 306, Providence, RI 02906, would be appreciated.
