MORGAN’S FUNERAL HOME Nellie Ruth Merrick, age 86 of Princeton, passed away Monday, June 4, 2018 at Caldwell Medical Center. Nellie was a member of Second Baptist Church of Princeton. She attended Glenn’s Chapel when she was younger and worked for Princeton Hosiery Mill and Arvin’s. She was a homemaker and enjoyed crafts. She is survived by one daughter, Jannie Peters and husband, Charles of Caldwell County; three sons, Stanley Merrick of Hopkinsville, Richard Merrick and… Read More » wife, Sondra of Princeton, Tony Merrick and wife, Janet of Princeton; four sisters, Jessie Lois Kingston and husband, Kenny of Kuttawa, Shirley Coleman and husband, Norman of Princeton, Candy Key and husband, David of Clarksville, TN, Sherry Terrell of Eddyville; three brothers, Pete Terrell and wife, Carol, Keith Terrell and wife, Lois of Amosa, Iowa, Sammy Terrell and wife, Joyce of Dawson Springs; two aunts, Bernadette Strickland of Eddyville, Velpo Strickland of Eddyville; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Edward Merrick; parents, Tommie B. and Jessie R. Strickland Terrell; two daughters, Bonnie Lamirande and Lona Merrick; daughter-in-law, Carrie Terrell; two sisters, Gladys L. Armstrong and Dorothy J. Ramey; grandson, Matt Peters. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Morgan’s Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Anderson and Rev. Ronnie Sivells officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Spring Cemetery.
