Mary Jane Hartford 2018

Mary Jane (Martin) Hartford, age 69, of Lynn, formerly of Saugus, died at her home unexpectedly on June 4th. She was the wife of Paul W. Hartford. Born and raised in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mabelle (Kennedy) Martin. Mary Jane was a loving and caring grandmother who enjoyed spending precious time with her grandchildren and family. A CNA at Brooksby Village in Peabody, she loved working with her patients and fellow staff members. Besides her husband she is survived by two daughters; Laurieanne Hartford of Melrose & Melissa Hartford of VT, four grandchildren; Ashley Hartford, Matthew Smith, Nicholas Smith & Meghan Smith. Daughter of the late Thomas & Mabelle (Kennedy) Martin. She was the sister of David Kennedy Martin of FL, Timothy Martin of FL, Kevin Martin of NH, Terrence Martin of Tewksbury, Thomas Martin, Jr. of Hamilton & the late Peter Martin, Deborah Martin, Therese Martin. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital @ stjude.org. SERVICE INFORMATION An hour of visitation will be held in the Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home, 549 Lincoln Ave., SAUGUS, on Saturday, June 23 noon to 1 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 1 p.m. Relatives & friends are invited to attend.
