Mrs. Mary E. Norris 73 of 1632 Davis Rd. died Tuesday, June 12, 2018. Mrs. Norris was born May 09, 1945 in Bladen Co. the daughter of the late John Harris Dowless and Betty Horne Dowless. She was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Herman Norris, two daughters, Teresa Key, Vivian K. Barnes, two sons, Ricky L. Norris, Billy R. Norris, two brothers, Purlie Dowless, and Jimmy Dowless. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Seed Time Worship Center, 131 Rich Rd., Garland, NC by the Reverend Danny Rich. Burial will follow in the Cumberland Memorial Gardens 4509 Raeford Rd., Fayetteville, NC. Mrs. Norris is survived by one son, Robert Norris wife Carol of Garland, two brothers, Clarence A. Dowless of Garland, Charles Dowless of Cary, 7 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 15, 2018 from 6:00PM-8:00P.M. at Carter Funeral Home in Garland, and other times at the home of Robert Norris, 1632 Helltown Rd., Garland, NC. .
