Obituary for Marion J. Head Marion J. Head, 94, of Lafayette, IN passed away on Monday, June 25, 2018. Marion was born August 30, 1923 in Lafayette, to Dennis M. and Cecelia (Lipprant) Head. He married his first wife Pearl Ruby in 1944. He later married Jean A. (Lawler) Miller Head on October 4, 1952. He was a bus driver and worked for many different businesses around greater Lafayette, including; Greyhound, Lafayette Limo, Imperial Travel, Greater Lafayette Transit and Hallmark Coaches. Marion was an active member of the United States Navy during WWII. He was a member of St. Boniface Church in Lafayette. He enjoyed piddling around his desk and loved to travel. He is survived by his children; Chuck (Bernadette) Head of Attica, Joseph A. Head of Orlando, FL, Barbara A. Tafoya of Semour, TN, Ralph E. (Patsy) Miller of Lafayette, Joseph A. (Donna) Miller of Lafayette, Particia A. (George) Brouwer of Lafayette and Pamela A. (Larry) Myers of New Richmond. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Marion is preceded in death by his wife; Jean, daughters; Francis Head and Janeen Head, and three brothers. Funeral mass of Christian burial on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 2:30pm with visitation one-hour prior at St. Boniface Catholic Church. Reverend Father Tim Alkire will officiate.
