Obituary for Marie Beeler MARIE E. BEELER, 87, passed peacefully Friday, June 8, 2018 after a brief hospitalization, at her home in Weirsdale, FL surrounded by her loved ones. Born November 9, 1930 in Casper, WY, the third child of Roy and Mabel Koenig. While attending Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, Marie met her long-time husband, Gene D. Beeler, of fifty-two years. She worked as a medical secretary at the Theresa Holland Clinic, in Leesburg, FL, for many years. Marie enjoyed gardening, baking and crocheting. She was a member of Weirsdale Presbyterian Church of Weirsdale, Fl. Survived by her son, Charles D. Beeler, of Hayesville, NC; daughter, Beth E. McDavid, of Weirsdale, FL; grandchildren, Jenna of Tavares, FL, Christa of Blairsville, GA, Cara of Athens, GA and Mandi of Crystal River, FL; Four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her late husband Gene D. Beeler. The family will receive friends and family on Saturday, June 16, 2018 starting at 10 am, at Weirsdale Presbyterian Church of Marion County for the celebration of life. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Weirsdale Presbyterian Church. Arrangements entrusted to Beyers Funeral Home and Crematory, Lady Lake, FL.
