Marguerite Lucille Brenneman, 91, of Bittinger, MD, died Sunday, June 17, 2018, at Goodwill Mennonite Home, Grantsville, MD. Born September 14, 1926, in Oakland, MD, she was the daughter of the late Melchoir and Elizabeth (Slaubaugh) Hetrick. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert O. Brenneman; two brothers, Paul Hetrick and Freeman Hetrick; one son-in-law, Thomas Warne. Mrs. Brenneman was a homemaker and a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Women of ELCA and the Bittinger Fireman’s Auxiliary. She is survived by two daughters, Jacquie Brenneman, Meyersdale, PA; Susan Brenneman, Grantsville; one sister, Doris Knox, Bittinger, MD; one granddaughter, Tara (Justin) Hinebaugh; one grandson, David (Jessica) Daniels; four great-grandchildren, Miranda (Mike) King, Stephen Daniels, Kellen and Caleb Hinebaugh; one great-great granddaughter, Brayden. A memorial service will be conducted in the Emmanuel Lutheran Church on Monday, June 25, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Bittinger Cemetery.
