Obituary of Margaret McManus Margaret Rosalia Kennedy Burleyson McManus, 67, of Concord passed away Monday, June 11, 2018 at Atrium Health-Northeast. Graveside service will be at 2pm Wednesday, June 13 at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis. Rosalia’s family will greet friends from 12-1pm Wednesday at Gordon Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant. Rosalia was born October 23, 1950 to Elfreida Kindley Eudy and the late Marcus Kennedy. She was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School, and worked at JC Penny for many years. She was also a member of First Baptist Church of Mt. Pleasant. She enjoyed living and spending time at Lake Tillery. Rosalia was preceded in death by first husband Robert “Bob” Burleyson, second husband Ronnie McManus; and brother Phillip Marcus Kennedy. In addition to her mother Rosalia is survived by step sisters Rita Basinger (A.C.) and Karen Barnhardt; and a step brother Doug Eudy. Memorials in Rosalia’s honor can be made to First Baptist Church of Mt. Pleasant, 8535 Lee St., Mt. Pleasant NC 28124.
