Margaret M. Leddy, wife of the late Michael M. Leddy, passed away at her home in Yonkers, New York on Thursday May 31, 2018 at the age of 92. Born in New York on January 8, 1926 to the late John and Margaret (Lynch) Duffy, Margaret will be missed dearly. After raising her 5 children, Margaret worked as a receptionist and secretary for a large law firm in NYC. She survived the loss of two adult children through her strong beliefs and Catholic faith. She will be remembered for her humility, sense of humor, and generous love for God, family, and friends. Margaret is survived by her sons Steven M. Leddy of West Haven, Paul M. Leddy and his wife Cheryl of Texas, her daughter Christine Leddy of Darien and five cherished grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Margaret was predeceased by her son Mark M. Leddy, her daughter Monica J. Leddy, and her brother John Duffy. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday June 5, 2018 at 10:00 am at St. Matthews Church 216 Scribner Ave. Norwalk, CT. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Margaret’s name to Notre Dame Health and Rehabilitation Center 76 West Rocks Rd. Norwalk, CT 06851.
