Obituary for Lula Montgomery Lula Montgomery, 87 of Fork Church Rd. in Garrard County, passed away on the evening of Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville. Born Sunday, February 08, 1931 in Garrard County, she was a daughter of the late Clarence & Jean Thompson Naylor. She was a member of Forks of Dix River Church, & was a former factory worker for Cowden’s Manufacturing. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her late husband, Edward Montgomery; brothers, George Harris Naylor, & J.K. Naylor; sisters, Gladys Naylor, Marie Merchant, Irene Durham, & Mary Francis Irvin. Survivors include her daughter, Margaret (Larry) McMillen, of Willisburg, Florence McCaine of Willisburg, & Wilma Wagner, of Washington State; two grandchildren, John Allen of Tennessee, & Kelly Smith of Lawrenceburg, as well as four great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Monday, June 04, 2018 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Bro. Cole Caven, & Bro. Bill Rhodus officiating and burial following at Danville Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers include John Allen, Brett Allen, Stephen Smith, Jr., Joe Naylor, Bobby Merchant, Butch Merchant, & George Naylor, Jr. Honorary pallbearers include Kelly Smith, Stephen Smith Sr., Hailey Faas, Laura Smith, & LeAnn Allen. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 PM Sunday, June 03, 2018 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home.
