Louise T. Boone, transitioned on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 from a brief illness in Washington, DC. She is survived by her children, Louise T. Boone, Charlene B. Quander, Denise C. Boone, and Charles P. Boone, Sr. (Sharon); aunt, Daisy Pryor; brothers, Anthony Pryor, Jr. and Gregory Pryor; grandchildren, Nakeesha R. Gray, Kevin Willis, Candace M. Quander, Bernard N. Boone, Sr. (Joi), Katherine Q. Forde (Carl), Nichole Boone, and Charles P. Boone, Jr.; great grandchildren, Monricko Lyles, Jr., Bernard N. Boone, Jr., Maya A. Boone, Frank Boone, Mackenzie West, and McKenzie Forde; and goddaughter, Tonyell Plater. She was preceded in death by her father Anthony Pryor, Sr.; and her mother Earlene H. Pryor Jones (deceased stepfather, Chester Jones); sister, Angelyn Winestock; and children, Donald, Candace, and Annette Boone. Mrs. Boone resided in Washington, DC for the majority of her life. She graduated from Cardozo High School, DC Teachers College and received a Masters of Science degree from the University of Massachussets Amherst. With a career spanning over thirty-six years, she retired in 1996 from the District of Columbia Public Schools.
