Louis J. “Mike” Ramacker Jr., 76, of Brockton, passed away June 10, 2018, after a lengthy illness. Native of Pennsylvania, he served in the U.S. Navy in the Vietnam War. He was an electrician by trade and worked in Boston for many years. Mike was an avid outdoorsman and loved to garden. He was the beloved husband of Patricia M. (Doherty) Ramacker for 55 years; loving father of Jill M. Ramacker and Lori A. Ramacker, both of Brockton; proud grandfather of Andrew J. Ramacker of Brockton and Daniel J. Silva of Berkley; brother of Gwenn Nutbrown and her husband Dave of McDonald, PA; brother-in-law of Eileen Kane (and her husband Marty), Charlie Doherty (and his wife Laura), Jim Doherty, Marie Roper (and her husband Paul) and the late Ronald Doherty (and his wife Marty); and an uncle of many nieces and nephews. All are welcome to calling hours Wednesday 4-8 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main Street, Brockton, his funeral Thursday at 8 a.m. from Waitt Funeral Home, funeral Mass at 9 a.m. in Christ the King Parish and committal at National Cemetery in Bourne.
