Obituary for Lorraine Gloria Sprenger Lorraine Gloria Sprenger, 90, of Traverse City passed away May 25, 2018 at the Arbor House. Lorraine was born on June 4, 1927 to the late Christian and Hulda (Sander) Bredeson in Minnesota. Lorraine married Bernard “Bernie” Sprenger on June 30, 1950 in Minnesota. He preceded her in death in 1995. Lorraine was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. In her free time she enjoyed gardening and spending time with her red hat friends. She also loved to polka dance. Lorraine is survived by her daughters Susan (James “Jim”) Hanley of Ocala, FL and Sharon Sprenger of Saint Charles, IL; grandchildren Benjamin Gaddis, Andrew Hanley, Matthew Hanley, Joshua Sprenger, John Sprenger and Christopher Sprenger and great grandchildren Nathan and Alexandra. Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Eugene, son-in-law Robert “Bob” Gaddis and six siblings. The family will celebrate and honor Lorraine’s life at a later date. Graveside services will be held in Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens this summer. Memorial contributions may be directed to Immaculate Conception Church Health Ministry.
