Tell City, Indiana Linda Sue Peter, 77, went to be with the Lord on June 15, 2018 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born in Tell City, Indiana on April 21, 1941 to the late Arthur and Alice (Nelson) Wint. Also preceding her in death was her husband Paul Wayne Peter in 2010; son in law, David Terry; and a sister, Myrtle “Sis” Ingle. Linda loved children and animals. She enjoyed babysitting, playing bingo, singing, especially to Patsy Cline and spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are her children, Debbie Terry (Jeff James), Tell CIty, Roger Peter (Janet), Tell City, Randy Peter, Tell City, Paula Patton (Ray), Evansville, Sherri Fortwendel (Tim), Evanston, Lisa Wardrip (Dennis), Tell City, Cindy Young (Johnny), Cannelton and Mindy Lawalin (Johnathan Stewart), Tell City; brothers, Kenny Wint, Tell City and George Wint (Lisa), Tell City; twenty grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild…….and many more. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM CST on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Brother David Nix will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Marks Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 2:00-8:00 PM and Tuesday from 9:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice, American Diabetes Association or the Perry County Animal Shelter.
