Obituary for Lillian Fisher Beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away Thursday, June 21, 2018 at the Cartwright Hospice Residence. Age 82 years. The daughter of the late John and Lily (Stangor) Szarenski, Lillian was born May 29, 1936 in Saginaw, Michigan. Lillian was a graduate of Arthur Hill High School Class of 1954. She married Gerard Fisher on May 23, 1964. He survives her. Lillian was employed at Tupes of Saginaw for many years until her retirement. She will be remembered for her selfless care for Gerard and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Surviving besides her husband Gerard are two daughters, one son and their spouses, Pamela and Martin Royer, Saginaw; Patrick and Karen Fisher, West Branch; Gerry Lawrence, Venice, Florida; five grandchildren, Nadine and Lindsey Royer, Nathan Fisher, Heather and Alicia Lawrence; several nieces and nephews. Lillian was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Harry Lawrence, and by two brothers and two sisters, John and Robert Szarenski, Mary Roberson and June Meyers. Funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., (between Shattuck and McCarty). Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home where the family will be present on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
