Lance Caliente Davenport, 30, of Middletown, died Thursday, May 24, 2018. Born February 2, 1988, in Little Rock, AR, he was the son of Marylyn Davenport. He made music for a living. He loved his daughter and he loved to be around his family. He enjoyed making music, playing basketball and playing video games. Survivors include his step-father, Fred Lewis; daughter, Latrice Davenport of FL; six brothers, Rashad (Aimee Miller) Brooks of Moline, IL, Leeroy Coleman of Silvis, IL, Arthur Gordon of Burlington, Allen Fields of Burlington, Freddy Howard of Burlington, and Eric Coleman; four sisters, Falana Coleman, Tansha Gordon, Charlotta Coleman and Elaine Oneil all of Burlington; grandmother, Lydia Mae Coleman-Lewis of Burlington; three aunts, Glenda Davenport of Sacramento, CA, Gwendolyn Davenport of Jonesboro, AR, and Mary Lou Davenport of Macomb, IL; cousin, Kurstan (Pepper) Davenport; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marylyn Davenport, grandfather, Walter Davenport, brother, Eddie Martin and sister-in-law, Latrice Davenport. Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh~Thielen Crematory. The memorial service for Mr. Davenport will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at Faith Temple Church of God In Christ.
