Obituary for Kim Beardsley (Elwell) Kim Maureen Beardsley, age 60, a resident of Hoosick Falls, NY died on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at Albany Medical Center following a long illness. She was born in Bennington, VT on May 19, 1958 and was the daughter of the late Ralph Elwell and Doris (Williams) Elwell who survives. She received her education in Hoosick Falls. She married Lewellyn Beardsley who survives and currently resides in Rensselaer, NY. Kim is a member of the Eagles Club in Hoosick Falls, and the VFW in Bennington, VT. Besides her husband, and her mother; Kim is survived by her children: Samantha Green of Hoosick Falls, William Beardsley of New Hampshire, Robert Beardsley of Hoosick Falls, Christopher of Albany, and Ryan of Rensselaer, NY. Kim also leaves several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Three brothers survive; Steve, Scott, and Jeff and one sister, Sandy Beardsley. She is predeceased by one daughter, Bridgett, two sisters; Kathy and Dawn, one granddaughter Savannah, and her life partner Barry Becker. Funeral services will be held on Monday afternoon, July 2, 2018 at the Mahar and Son Funeral Home, 628 Main Street, Bennington at 2:00pm. Interment will follow in the family lot in the Warren Cemetery in Pittstown, NY. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1:00pm until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Second Chance Animal Shelter through the office of Mahar and Son Funeral Home, 628 Main Street, Bennington, VT 05201.
