Kenneth J Barnes Jr 2018

SAUGUS – Mr. Kenneth J. Barnes, Jr., age 86, died on Monday, June 25th at the Life Care Center in Stoneham. He was the husband of the late Jane (Adam) Barnes. Born in Malden, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Elsa (Lindquist) Barnes, Sr. He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. The family business, Park Press in Saugus was established in 1934 by his father and Ken eventually took over until he retired in 1994. Mr. Barnes leaves four children, Nancy Barnes of Melrose, Norma Baker and her husband Robert of FL, Joan Braier and her husband Anthony of Saugus, John Barnes and his wife Christine of Chelsea; thirteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; two brothers, David Barnes of SC and Richard Barnes of Swampscott; one sister, Marion Burnham of NH. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Boy Scouts of America, Troop 62, 50 Es St., Saugus, MA 01906. SERVICE INFORMATION Relatives & friends are invited to attend a memorial service in the Cliftondale Congregational Church, 50 Es St., Saugus on Monday at 10 a.m.
