Obituary for Kenneth W. Schrage Dateline: Alton, IL Kenneth W. Schrage, 61, died at 3:08 p.m. on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at his residence. He was born on February 22, 1957 in Highland, IL the son of Edmund “EJ” and Rita (Drees) Schrage. He served in the U.S. Air Force and owned and operated Schrage Construction Company in Godfrey. He was a loving father to his four children; Stephanie Schrage of Alton, Christopher Schrage of Chicago, Samantha Schrage of St. Louis, and Michael Schrage of Alton. Also surviving is a brother, Arnold Schrage of St. Rose, IL and a sister, Denise Peters of Highland, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents, and an infant brother, Kevin Schrage. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at St. Rose Cemetery in St. Rose, Illinois. Father Ed Schaefer will officiate. Memorials may be made to his son, Michael Schrage.
