Obituary for Kathryn “Kay” Meunier Kathryn “Kay” (Kropp) Meunier, 73, of West Hartford, beloved wife of 50 years to Roger D. Meunier, passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at home. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Charles Kropp, Jr. and Gertrude (Engle) Kropp and had lived in West Hartford for the past 46 years. Known by many , loved by all, she was affectionately called “Gram”. Kay was known for her joking and witty sense of humor. Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth “Liz” Meunier and Michelle “Mickey” Meunier; three sisters, Mildred Mitchell, Patricia Raymond and Charlene DeLaura and her husband, Dr., James DeLaura and 2 grandchildren, who were the loves of her life Steven Arsenault and Samantha Arsenault. Funeral procession will be Monday, 9:15 am from the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 a, in St. Brigid Church, West Hartford. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford. Calling hours are Sunday from 2 to 5 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hartford HealthCare Hospice, 1290 Silas Deane Highway, (Suite 4B), Wethersfield, CT 061009. Online condolences may be made at www.SheehanHilbornBreen.com.
