Obituary for Joyce Welch (Hudgens) Joyce Hudgens Welch died peacefully at home on May 22, 2018. she was a graduate of Grenville HIgh wehere she was prom queen in 1954. She was a member of Edwards Road Baptist Church and a member of the choir. Services will be at the church Thursday, June 14 at 2:00. She was daughter of David Cecil Hudgens Sr. and Mary Mildred Miller, further raised by her step mother, Mary Christine Hudgens. She was preceded in death by her daughter Teresa Lynette Smith of Marietta and survived by her her sons David Lindsey and James K. Lindsey of Mauldin.
