At Home In God’s Care, JOYCE ELAINE LANDIS GEBHART, 60, of Lakeview, Ohio, departed this life on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Lima Manor, Lima Ohio following an extended illness. Born November 24, 1957 in Charleston, W.Va., Joyce was a former manager at Lakeside RV Park and attended Waynesfield Baptist Church. Her father Sattis Landis preceded her in death along with several aunts and uncles. She is survived by her mother, Frances Landis, of Wayne, W.Va.; her daughters, Candice (David) McGath, Melissa Bartram (Carl Adkins), and Lily Powell, all of Lakeview; grandchildren, Britney McGath, Dakota Nevers, Zeva Adkins, Nathan Adkins, and Lala Adkins. Also surviving is one brother, Jeffrey (Vicki) Landis of Bay City, Tex.; nephews, Zach Landis of Florida, and Alex Landis of Wayne; Bill Nevers, who was like a son; special friend John Powell, both of Lakeview, as well as many dear cousins, family and friends too numerous to mention. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, June 29, 2018 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Brother Harry Ramsey officiating. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Friends may call two hours prior to the funeral.
