Obituary of Joseph Garcia Joseph “Jack” Garcia Born and raised in Atlantic City, and a resident there until his retirement to Somers Point, Joseph Garcia passed away peacefully on June 24, 2018 after a long illness. Surviving him are his wife Carmela, son Joseph, and daughter Janet. Jack was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, and a longtime (40+ years) employee of Atlantic County. Devoted, responsible husband and father, he had a quick wit and enjoyed life. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Thursday, June 28th 9:30-10:30am followed by 10:30am Funeral Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 606 Shore Rd. in Somers Point. Burial will be private.
