John W Price June 15 2018

Obituary for John W. Price Price, John W. age 60, died suddenly doing one of the many activities he enjoyed on June 15, 2018. John had many friends, and made informed choices about his life and living. John was a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist at Hennepin County Medical Center on the Knapp Rehab unit where he worked for over 30 years and during that time mentored 55 students. He was athletic, creative, a problem solver, played guitar, and loved nature. John lived his entire life on or near Lake Minnetonka, knew the lake intimately and was an expert fisherman. John was an incredible human being. He was caring, strong, spiritual, a helper to others, good humored, and fully engaged with life and his family. And these words do not adequately describe him. Life flowed through this sensitive and giving man. John touched the lives of so many people, many who will hear of his passing, and many who will not his gifts already received. It’s worth taking a moment to pause. John is survived by his wife Joleen of 36 years, two sons Dan and Luke, a brother Jim and sister Barb (John) Bulthouse. A celebration of life will be held at the Gillespie Center, 2590 Commerce Boulevard, Mound on Sunday, June 24th from 12:00 – 3:00. Memorials preferred to the American Diabetes Association. diabetes.org
