Obituary for Jessie Mckoy Obituary Jessie Viola McKoy was born to the late Robert J. and Lillie M. McKoy on August 27, 1932 in Fayetteville, North Carolina. She entered into eternal rest on June 5, 2018. Jessie was educated in the Cumberland County Public Schools System and worked at Fort Bragg, North Carolina as a Dental Hygienist for several years until her retirement. Jessie joined Beaver Creek A.M.E. Zion Church (which later became Simon Temple A.M.E. Zion Church) at an early age. Jessie was a long time member of the Usher Board, the Missionary Board and also volunteered for Meal on Wheels. She was a faithful member of the church. Jessie was preceded in death by mother and father Robert J. and Lillie M. McKoy, 2 brothers Robert McKoy Jr., and William McKoy; 3 sisters Gladys Jones, Lauretta Blair, and Barbara Lewis. She leaves to cherish her memories her son Dwight A. McKoy Sr.(Keisha McCollough), 8 grandchildren; Jamel Raynor Sr., Eugene Boykins, Jessica S. McKoy, Dwight A. McKoy Jr., Montae Mckoy, Kaori McKoy, Jada McKoy, and Lashanda Hinson; 3 great grandchildren, Jamel Raynor, Jr., Dwight A. McKoy III, and Mellow McKoy all of Fayetteville, NC. Jessie also leaves 3 brothers – Matthew McKoy, Jerry McKoy, and Phillip McKoy and 8 sisters – Lola Logan, Lelia Walker, Catherine McKoy, Versell Lamons, Vivian Robinson, Iris Lewis, Ozell Evans and Helen Hughey.
