JAMI LEE MATSON, age 32, of Washington CH, passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at 9:31 a.m. She was born on February 2, 1986 in Fayette County to Jeffrey James and Carolyn Diane Laytart Matson Pollard. She was a 2003 graduate Thompson High School via ECOT. Jami had previously managed rental properties and had also worked at Knights Inn. Jami was known as the “selfie queen” to her friends and family. She enjoyed being a Mom and spending time with her family and children. Jami was preceded in death by her parents; infant son, Christopher Haithcock Jr., paternal grandparents, David and Mary Matson; and maternal grandparents, Lang and Mary Laytart. Survivors include her husband, Cody Patrick Bowen; children, Kaden Matson, Reagen Bowen, Kennedy Bowen, and Amari Francis; brother and sister-in-law, Jason and Tara Jaeckels; nieces and nephews, Trinity, Tayler, Trey, and Tory Jaeckels; step-father, Barry Pollard; and special friends, Miranda Bailey, and Kyle Maddux. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends. A Celebration of Life will take place at the convenience of the family.
